If Cartoon Characters Appeared In Real Life Settings

Graphic DesignIf Cartoon Characters Appeared In Real Life Settings

Ever wanted to take a cartoon character out of the screen and make it a real life friend? Sure you have…

Who wouldn’t want to hang out with Woody, learn Kung Fu from Po, or help Scrat find his acorns?

Well finding a way to bring popular animated animals and people into a real world setting was the challenge laid down to our talented community of creatives here at DesignCrowd.

Designers could take any cartoon character, from any source, and mix them with photographs. They were asked not to recreate the character in three dimensions, simply integrate them into our world.

The Cartoon Pygmalion contests have proved to be some of the most popular on DesignCrowd, and previously on Worth1000, with 1000+ images submitted over the years.

We’ve selected some of our favorites below, or you can see all the entries on our Community pages. Scroll down to see how some of the most famous animated stars might look in real-life scenes.
