Graphic DesignGet the design you want or get your money back!

The results from investing in the right branding for your business can be priceless.

Get it right and you can significantly improve your reputation, reach, and in turn, revenue.

Problem is, getting that professional artwork usually requires an initial outlay from what might already be a tight budget.

Whether starting-up a business, or building out a marketing campaign for your more established company, there are few (if any) occasions when there will be spare cash to splash care free.

That means there is always pressure to find bang for your buck when commissioning creative material. So whether that’s a logo, website, business card, or flyer, you want to ensure you receive quality designs for a price that doesn’t break the bank.

This is where crowdsourcing your designs through DesignCrowd helps. Not only do we have 500k+ designers in our community ready to deliver creative gems, we also offer a money back guarantee to provide peace of mind when you invest in a project.

What is DesignCrowd’s money back guarantee?

We offer a money back guarantee on all design project budgets. This means if you don’t get any designs you like, you can request a refund to get your design budget back.

The refund does exclude any posting fees (normally around $59) or upgrade fees (such as the private project or featured upgrade, transaction fees, etc.) you may have already paid to DesignCrowd when you launched your project.

When can you claim your money back?

If you don’t like any of the designs you have received to your non-guaranteed contest, you can request a refund within 60 days of posting your project, and we’ll refund your project budget.

All we ask is you wait until the end of your contest period to request the refund so you can see all the designs. Many designers choose to manage their workload so as to submit their designs towards the project deadline. This means that while you might not be blown away by the first entries, the one you love may drop in last minute and you’ll be wholly satisfied with your options.

We’ll also refund your project budget AND all the posting fees paid to DesignCrowd if you don’t receive any designs, none of the designs reach the minimum standard, or they fail to meet the concreate requirements of your brief.

If you’ve committed or guaranteed your contest (or posted your contest before 20 May 2010) you will not be eligible for a money back refund. You also can’t request a refund if you’ve already selected a winning design.

How do you request your money back?

If you feel you want to request a refund on your project budget, you can contact our Customer Support team.

You will need to provide your project brief ID along with the email address you registered with and it really helps our team if you outline the reasons why you are requesting a refund. In some circumstances, the team may be able to rectify the issues and in fact help ensure you still receive the perfect custom design at no additional cost.

Why guarantee or commit your project?

As we said, if you’ve committed or guaranteed your contest, you won’t be eligible for a refund.

The benefits of guaranteeing your project however, are that more designers will be willing to submit to your brief. Top ranking designers are more likely to participate in your project meaning the best quality options for you to choose from.

How can DesignCrowd help ensure bang for buck?

How can DesignCrowd help ensure bang for buck?

There are plenty of boosts you can give your project to generate more submissions that fully satisfy your brief.

On your project progress page, you can look to extend the deadline, increase the budget, or offer participation payments, all of which will appeal to more designers.

You can update your brief at any time for free, and include more details for the designers if you feel they are missing the mark. Doing this helps clarify what you want, and a simple change to the description can open the floodgates to a raft of inspired ideas.

There’s also the option to upgrade your project, which can help give it additional coverage on the design boards, as well as across our wider creative community.

And within your Project Management page, you can find further ways to enhance your brief, including access to our help centre. Here you can ask any question about the design process and read extra tips on how to receive more designs you’ll love.

You can also contact our support team who will always be able to help you with any questions you may have.

Conclusion

Our money back guarantee is in place to help offer you peace of mind when paying for a design project.

Our main aim is of course to ensure you get the best design you need for your busines and we will do everything we can to help deliver that.

But if there really is no alternative, you can receive your money back, which means when you launch a project with DesignCrowd, it’s risk free.
