Who says cats are selfish creatures?
Well, probably anyone who has noted how many days of the year are dedicated to our feline friends, that’s who.
Now we can’t validate all said dates, but certainly International Cat Day, National Cat Day, and Black Cat Day seem somewhat locked in, and that’s before you’ve considered feral cats, hug your cat, and marked Happy Mew Year…And what about Garfield The Cat Day? (Don’t miss out in June, people).
Rightly or wrongly there seems to be plenty of affection for these furballs of fun. And it would just be catty (ahem) of anyone to criticize any celebration of a creature that makes a living out of either laying around, eating, sleeping, or pining for play time.
