5 Eggcellent Easter Themed Design Projects On DesignCrowd

It’s an eggcellent time of year to rabbit on about cracking puns and eating chocolate.

But while you can quickly egghaust ‘funny’ Easter related jokes, the creative opportunity for design projects is almost endless.

From t-shirts to illustrations and greetings cards, there’s plenty of ways people want festive and seasonal related designs for their business, event, or community.

So whether you’re hosting an egg hunt or looking to run a charity race, hopefully these five eggciting design ideas from our creative community here at DesignCrowd will help inspire you.

Easter in the Alice T-shirt design

The team from Easter in the Alice wanted an exclusive T-shirt design to hand to each rider that completes the last stage of their three day, four stage mountain bike event.

They wanted something with a cartoon bunny sweating it out climbing hills on a mountain bike. They also wanted the sponsors’ logos included on the back.

Illustration design for a folio

The customer wanted an interior illustration of an Easter scenefor a cardboard folio. The concept they were looking for was some bunnies watching from a pier, or from shore, as colourful hot air balloons drop Easter eggs. They would then be applying dozens of lights to the scene.

Easter postcards for community event

This design project was for a church that was hosting a large outreach event in their community.

They wanted the eye-catching postcards to advertise their 50,000 Easter egg hunt, along with bouncy castles, free food and drinks.

The design had to use bright colors, cool graphics, and be kid friendly, while showing off how big the event will be.

T-shirt for The Easter Egg Hunter

YouTuber James wanted a really eye catching colorful funky-fresh T-shirt design he could hand out to his channel’s subscribers.

The brief was fairly loose, but said James would quite like an 8-bit or 16-bit theme with maybe a cracked egg and something adventurous.

Easter themed coloring card for church

Memory Cross wanted Easter coloring cards created for children aged 5 to 10.

The brief said the images do not need a lot of fine detail as the children were going to color them in, but said the design should be unique and help tell the Easter story.

The customer said they expected to produce between 50 and 100,000 cards over the next couple of years.
