May the Forest be with You.
Catchy play on the famous lines from Star Wars, noh? But that is what we want to do–grab the attention of every user online to this pressing issue: Climate Change.
Despite the collateral effects of the pandemic, one of the biggest problems our world faces today is the rise in temperature of our planet.
Meaning, icebergs are melting, trees are burning, and what are we doing?
We are establishing eco-friendly businesses that care about the environment. There are three kinds to them:
- Cradle to Cradle: Every aspect of the business is sustainable. From the design to the product itself, it can be recycled and or disposed of safely.
- Environmentally Sustainable: Every aspect of the business does not consume any natural resources. The brand ethically implements the four pillars of sustainability: product development, supply chain management, waste reduction, and charitable partnerships.
- Eco-Friendly or Earth-Friendly: Every aspect of the business does not harm the environment.
Â
But why do we need businesses to be one of the three above?
Â
November is Environmental Awareness Month. Thus, we need to understand what is happening to the world to understand why this issue needs awareness.
Since 1850-1900 the pre-industrial era, our temperature has been the highest this year, with a 1.08 ±0.13 °C increase.
Not only that but the prominent three greenhouse gases–carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide–continued to increase amid the pandemic.
Lastly, if we don’t lower our temperature, we’d reach a dangerous global warming level from 2027 to 2042. There would be no turning back. We’d be slowly broiling ourselves if we don’t do something about it now.
That’s where businesses and people in power come in. Based on the policies to be created and the method of exacting business transactions would determine the fate of our planet.
And that’s why COP26, The Climate Summit, is being conducted as we speak. World leaders around the globe are discussing ways to help our planet recuperate from its heat problem.
So let’s raise awareness. We don’t want an incident of greenwashing to happen. It’s like whitewashing without the cultural bias.
Greenwashing is the technique of a brand to promote environmental preservation but in a misleading manner. Businesses need to give facts and be honest to the consumers about how they conduct business.
We must not forget that businesses thrive not only because of their ideals but how they present their brand online. These can be seen by their use of sustainable packaging or through their graphic design.
Let’s get into the logos and get inspired.
Logos for Your Green Business
Eco-friendly businesses show their advocacy through their design. Have you?
No worries, here are three categories we want you to try out for your business.
Despite the bodies of water being our primary coolers and generators of oxygen, trees are also doing just that.
They provide us with shade and material for any of our environmental needs. However, their numbers are plummeting.
Just last year, the Amazon, our most giant forest, was burned. Let’s raise awareness with these woodland-themed logos:

Care for the Fauna
Aside from preserving trees for detoxifying greenhouse gas on land, it is the home of our furry friends.
Except for the Penguins and the Polar Bears, of course, but the point still stands. Animals are part of our ecological system and help maintain the balance of our planet.
Remember them in this advocacy with these visuals for your brand identity:

Cultivate the Flora
Aside from conserving the habitat and the animals, we have to save our flowers and plants too. They also filter harmful toxins in the air and create oxygen and food for the insects.
