Yep, it actually happened. Donald Trump won the US presidential election.
It added a further surprise element to what would have been a momentous and historic result either way.
As a man with no previous political experience it was a shock to many that he could seemingly hijack one of the most powerful positions in the world.
But hijacking was a theme of his campaign. His wife and political team made headlines after questions were raised over the originality of a speech made at the Republican National Convention.
The president-elect hardly batted an eyelid at accusations the words were potentially ‘stolen’ from a speech by Michelle Obama. He even made jokes about the incident during later public appearances.
So we here at DesignCrowd wondered what other historical moments Donald Trump himself could potentially hijack and reuse for his own purpose.
The TV personality come world leader found himself as the subject of many memes across multiple contests here on DesignCrowd during his campaign, and this was another one where our community really went to town.
If you thought the election win was worrying, imagine Trump signing the Magna Carta, crossing the Alps, or being the first man on the moon.
