Birdwatching is a form of recreational or social activity where people observe birds in their natural habitat. This hobby is enjoyed for various reasons. Some people do it for fun – a way to see birds and learn more about their habits. Some conservationists do it for science, as watching birds can help monitor the state of an ecosystem. While some do it for a fun thrill – to catch a glimpse of a rare bird!
Whether you have a birdwatching club, nature photography club, environmental group, or wildlife agency, a beautiful birdwatching logo can help convey to your audience what your niche is and hopefully entice them to join your organization.

How To Create Great Birdwatching Logos
Birdwatching logos have some key elements that you need to consider in order to create a great one. Those are:
Match the design to your brand identity
The right design to use depends on what your organization does, as well as the overall brand identity or brand image that you want to present.
For example, are you a casual birdwatching club? Then a fun and lighthearted doodle design of a Robin or Starling will work. Do you have a wildlife agency? Then a “rougher” and more intricate illustration of a Vulture or Pelican is more suitable. Planning to use a bird for your skincare brand? Then a minimalist line art design of a swan is perfect for you.
The key is considering your brand image and using a design that can convey just that.
Pair with the right color and typography
Just like with your design style, the color palette and typography you’ll use will also affect how your logo is perceived.
Let’s say you have a tropical resort. A fun and vibrant Pelican or Parrot logo combined with vibrant yellow or orange color scheme can really establish the “tropicalness” of your business. Meanwhile, pairing gray, silver, or ice blue with winter birds such as Finches or Juncos can really bring that cool and snowy feeling to your logo.
The same logic applies to your typography. Sans-serif fonts appear more modern and casual. Meanwhile, serif fonts like Times New Roman come across as more traditional and old-school.
Handwritten style fonts bring a more rustic and casual feel. While chunky thick lettering is seen as more playful and bold.
Add elements of nature
Details such as leaves, roots, trees, mountains, oceans, grass, flower fields, clouds, or the sun really add to that nature vibe. They also add more visual interest to an otherwise simple logo design.
